Pain. It comes in many shapes and sizes. It can be acute such as a sprained elbow, a stress headache or a stubbed toe. Pain can be chronic and can come in the form of bursitis or tendonitis, monthly migraines or carpel tunnel syndrome. Pain comes not only in the physical form but can manifest itself mentally, as in depression, or spiritually as those experiencing grief might feel.
Whatever form pain comes in, it is simply that: pain. It is ultimately experienced by you. And, when you are in pain, it can affect each and every aspect of your life. Finding solutions to heal and free yourself or to help you manage your pain is our ultimate goal for our clients who seek our services for pain.
Our therapists are trained to meet these needs. We offer many different modalities because as each person is unique so is their pain. We may see three different individuals in one day who each have, for example, frozen shoulder syndrome. We will utilize three very different approaches to each of these sessions because the experience each client brings mandates this. One might want to have essential oils (aromatherapy) applied while another might want deep tissue release. One might want to talk through their treatment with a therapist while another prefers to utilize some visualization techniques offered or simply relax. We will work with you through a wide variety of approaches to find the treatment best for your specific challenge.
